Mentor Program
As the years have passed the University of Central Florida NSBE chapter has been vigorously trying to fulfill our national mission. We have executed the mission with great precision by increasing our chapter by over fifty percent in the last year, impacting our community by tenfold with our ‘A Walk for Education’ having over 100 guests and also receiving numerous thank you letters from our PCI members and their parents. However, succeeding professionally is a very crucial part in which cannot be overlooked. Our members have received a great number of internships from school career fairs, NSBE career fairs and many other resources, but we have found a need to impact those who do not feel that they are ready to work in the corporate world or need a bit more guidance. With that being said, this is the purpose to why we are implementing a mentor program. The mentor program will serve as a guide to bridging the gap between our members and the corporate world. We will be attaining new mentors with every opportunity that we get and are very excited to begin our journey with this new program.
Career Center
The Career Center is a very valuable resource that our members will have available to them throughout the year. It is a customized online career network where members can go to find jobs, internships and scholarship information. The site is cost free and will allow our members to access expansive networking opportunities 24/7
NSBE UCF Road Trip
The NSBE UCF Road Trip is an extension to our pre college initiative (PCI) efforts within our community. Being in Orlando which is a large metropolitan region we are always trying to impact more youths in the area. We will be going school to school and giving presentations on why students should pursue a degree in the STEM field. It will also explain the different types of engineering that are available and give them a better understanding of what engineers do in the everyday world. Because we cannot create twenty different T.O.R.C.H centers this will help us involve more students throughout the community and create an even larger impact than we have now.
Forum
The forum section will be used by members to communicate about getting tutors, exchanging books and anything else that they would like to discuss.

In order for you to have access to the features mentioned above, you will have to be a paid member. If you are not a paid member and you want to join NSBE, then there are procedures on how to get that done on our homepage. Paid members will have access to these features through a login name and password that we will email to them.
In case you do have the login name and password. To login, follow the following procedures
- On the top right hand corner there is a link that says Login, click it.
- A dialog box will appear in the center of the screen waiting for you to input the login name and password as parameters.
- Once the parameters are filled, click the green arrow pointing right.
- The login will redirect you to the same page, but the difference now is that the features are now enabled. Look to the Members tab, rest the cursor on NSBE UCF Connect, and right box will appear with the different features such as Mentor Section and NSBE UCF Roadtrip.
